İzmir is not one destination — it's an ecosystem. The city centre gives you the Kordon waterfront and one of the oldest bazaars in the world. Drive 45 minutes west and you're in Urla's vineyards. Another 30 minutes and it's Alaçatı's stone streets and windsurf bays. Go north instead and Karaburun peninsula feels like the Aegean did forty years ago. Go south and you walk the marble streets of Ephesus.
